About Us

Wellsies was created by dog people, for dogs — born from a love of baking, a deep appreciation for companionship, and a belief that treats should be made with care, clarity and intention.

What began as baking for much-loved dogs during a period of recovery soon grew into something more. Baking became a source of calm and creativity, and before long, friends, family and customers were asking for treats of their own. From those early days, Wellsies has grown into a small UK-based business focused on thoughtful, handmade dog treats.

Today, we create a range of biscuits, baked donuts and decorated treats, including personalised designs for special moments and celebrations. All of our recipes are made in small batches using gram (chickpea) flour and carefully selected, dog-safe ingredients. Our treats are intended to be enjoyed as complementary pet food for dogs, fed in moderation as part of a balanced diet.

Wellsies is also about bringing people and dogs together. Alongside our treats, we love creating joyful, dog-friendly experiences and events, from seasonal pop-ups to community favourites such as the Pupkin Patch — designed to celebrate dogs, encourage connection, and create lasting memories for both dogs and their people.

Giving back is an important part of what we do. We’re proud to support charities close to our hearts, including Cure Parkinson’s, Catching Lives, and Dogs On The Street, helping to raise awareness, funds and kindness through our business wherever we can.

At Wellsies, transparency matters. We believe dog owners should feel confident in what they’re feeding their dogs, which is why we clearly provide ingredient lists, analytical constituents and feeding guidance across our products.
